Surf Coast Community and Civic Precinct Stage 1

Registered for a Greenstar office design rating and targeting a 5 Star rating , this project includes the construction of the new Surf Coast Shire Council offices and associated roadways, landscaping and wetland construction. In addition to the new Shire offices a new sports precinct is to be constructed including an AFL ground, a synthetic soccer field, four Netball courts and associated sports pavilion.
Toyota Park Redevelopment

The upgrade of Toyota Park, home of the Cronulla Sharks rugby league team, included the demolition of the existing Southern Grandstand and its associated structures. The construction works involved: a new covered multi-storey grandstand providing seating for over 1,400 patrons, three entry pavilions with turnstile gates, associated grandstand facilities such as function area, toilets, bar, food preparation areas, ticket sales and upgraded entrances.
Campbelltown Sports Stadium Stage 3 Upgrade

This project involved the Stage 3 upgrade of the western grandstand which included enhancements to amenities and media facilities as well as a new passenger lift and access stairwells in the western grandstand. An additional 3,100 seats adjacent to the west and east grandstands at ground level have also been provided. The project was completed under the Construction Management delivery method.
Blacktown Cricket/AFL Stadium

Constructed with Blacktown City Council, the Cricket/AFL Stadium located at Blacktown Olympic Park, comprises a 1,500-seat grandstand with the option to expand to a 20,000-seat capacity in the future, a 250-seat function room and kitchen. Other works included a series of players facilities and media offices, a separate 1000sqm indoor practice centre and an amenities building with club room. The new grandstand and associated buildings incorporate environmentally sustainable design principles. Greywater recycling has been incorporated for irrigation and toilet flushing while all internal spaces use mixed-mode air-conditioning. Natural daylight is encouraged through the use of skylights, shaded by the photovoltaic panels lining the north, reducing the need for air conditioning and decreasing energy usage where possible. Thermal mass is managed internally with the use of concrete block and insulated walls externally. There is also extensive on-site stormwater management where water quality ponds hold, filter and clean stormwater run-off.
Blacktown Athletics Stadium

The Athletics track grandstand at Blacktown Olympic Park comprises a 1,234-seat covered grandstand including disabled seats, storage enclosures, commentator box, corporate facilities, canteen, access ramp, change rooms and amenities.
The ground floor houses change rooms, testing facilities and storerooms. On the first floor there is a function room for 200 people which includes a commercial kitchen and bar. The concourse level has a public kiosk and there is also an amenities block and time keeper’s box at the 100m line complete with a fully functioning Public Address system. The roof is constructed in the shape of butterfly wings and consists of Klip Lock and Span deck metal roof sheeting. The stormwater from the roof is harvested into a storage tank for irrigation of the field and landscaping. This project was completed with Blacktown City Council.
